Community Guidelines

What we expect from members and what we won't tolerate.

And-U exists to provide a safe, respectful online dating environment. These Community Guidelines are read alongside our Terms of Use. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban depending on severity and history.

Profile content and use

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to register and use And-U.

Profile accuracy

Provide accurate information about yourself. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your age or marital status, or include false or misleading information in your profile.

Profile information

Your profile (name, headline, bio) must not contain offensive, hateful, obscene, illegal, or inappropriate content. No content promoting terrorism, advocating violence, or advocating self-harm. No content infringing on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property.

Profile uniqueness

One account per person. Duplicate accounts will be terminated.

Profile purpose

Profiles must be used for genuine dating or relationship-seeking. No solicitation of money, gifts, or items of monetary value. No "sugar daddy" arrangements or dowry seeking.

Photos

Photos must be of you, accurate, and not harmful in any way. Do not submit images that:

  • Contain any person other than you
  • Contain nudity or are overly sexually suggestive
  • Glorify violence
  • Contain contact information of any form
  • Contain children or minors
  • Are subject to copyright of another person
  • Are of drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Are photoshopped or digitally edited to misrepresent you

Photo violations result in disapproval and may lead to account termination.

Communication

With customer service

Do not be abusive, obscene, profane, threatening, harassing, or racially offensive when contacting And-U support. Offensive conduct results in immediate account termination.

With other members

Do not be abusive, obscene, threatening, or harassing toward other members on or off site. Do not send unsolicited sexual messages. Do not send messages promoting terrorism, violence, or self-harm. Do not solicit prostitution or engage in human trafficking. Do not send spam, promotional messages, or external links promoting products or services. We may report communication relating to illegal activity to law enforcement.

Harassment

No form of harassment, including racially offensive, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene, defamatory, or objectionable material. Do not repeatedly contact someone who has blocked you or expressed they no longer want to communicate. Do not create duplicate accounts to harass another member.

No communication with minors

All members must be over 18. We enforce additional policies to protect minors. Any inappropriate communication with a minor will be reported to law enforcement.

Account safety

Sending money

Never send money or share financial information with anyone you met on And-U. Report anyone who solicits money or financial information to safety@and-u.org.

Solicitation

Do not use And-U to distribute or promote material containing solicitation for funds, advertising, or solicitation for goods. This results in account termination.

Site security and access

Do not share your password. Do not post or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code. Do not use bots or automated tools to access And-U.

Account dormancy

We periodically terminate dormant accounts. Log in regularly to keep your account active.

Reporting violations

Report abuse via the in-app report button on any profile or message, or email safety@and-u.org. Provide as much information and evidence as possible.
