Terms of Use

The agreement between you and And-U. MVP draft — full Terms to be published before public launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using And-U, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Statement, our Community Guidelines, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use And-U. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You must not be prohibited from using dating services under any applicable law.

3. Account

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at support@and-u.org of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You will use And-U only for genuine dating and relationship-seeking purposes. You will comply with our Community Guidelines. You will not:

  • Use the service to commit fraud, scam other members, or solicit money
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other members
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from And-U

5. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until canceled. Cancel any time from Settings > Subscription. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Content you submit

You retain ownership of photos and bio content you submit. By submitting, you grant And-U a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the service. You may revoke this license by deleting the content from your profile.

7. Trust and verification

And-U operates a trust layer including photo verification and optional ID-document verification. Verification is a tool to reduce scam risk; it is not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your own safety. See our Dating Safety page.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

9. Disclaimers

And-U is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that you will find a partner, that other members are who they claim to be, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, And-U is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold And-U harmless from any claims arising out of your conduct on the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
