Cookie Policy

How And-U uses cookies and similar technologies.

This page explains the cookies we set and why. For the full data-handling story see our Privacy Statement.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the product is used.

Cookies we set

  • Session— signs you in and keeps you signed in. Cleared when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. Required.
  • CSRF token— protects forms against cross-site forgery. Required.
  • Demo mode flag— only set in non-production environments to mark your session as demo. Required in demo only.
  • Analytics (PostHog)— anonymous usage analytics so we can improve the product. Optional, opt-out from Privacy settings.

Third parties

We use Stripe for billing and identity verification — their cookies are set on the Stripe-hosted checkout and verification pages, governed by Stripe’s cookie policy. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers.

Managing cookies

Every modern browser lets you delete cookies and block them site-by-site. Doing so will sign you out and may break parts of And-U that rely on session state.

Updates

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date below and post a notice on the homepage.
